We're harnessing data and analytics to drive the energy sector forward. As a key player in our team, you'll shape our data infrastructure and analytics, influencing customer service improvements and business innovations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Airflow, dbt, and Python to streamline data flow.
* Design schemas in our object storage data lake (e.g., S3) and cloud data warehouse (e.g., Redshift) to support BI tools, dashboards, and data science notebooks.
* Integrate and document data from SAP, Salesforce, and other enterprise systems, creating reliable raw plus data products for analysts to query directly.
* Enable business teams with guidance, curated self-service templates, and documentation, as well as occasional hands-on support for domain experts to develop and maintain their own data solutions.
* Contribute to future platform development through proof of concepts for reusable templates, Infrastructure as Code, and open table formats (Iceberg/Delta).
Your Ideal Profile:
* A university degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
* At least 3 years of hands-on data or software engineering experience, taking data pipelines and services from design through to reliable production operation.
* Proficiency in SQL and Python.
* Hands-on experience with cloud analytics services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), Airflow, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.
* Familiarity with version control (Git) and at least one CI/CD or IaC tool (GitLab CI, Terraform, CDK) is a plus.
* A service-oriented mindset, clear communication, and fluency in English.
