Marketing & Sales Manager – Industrial Coatings
HEGGEL® GmbH, a leading company active in the field of industrial protective coating systems, executive office in Düsseldorf- Germany is seeking an experienced Sales Manager for Corrosion Protection Industry to lead our team of sales engineers. We design and produce world class polymer coatings and linings for demanding industrial applications. Our culture is built on expertise, quality, innovation, integrity and customer satisfaction. With a growing team, we’re expanding our marketing and sales capabilities to support global growth. Marketing & Sales Manager (m/f/d) Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage a team of sales engineers and distributors
2. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth
3. Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts through innovative and proven methods in B2B sales management
4. Prepare and deliver technical proposals and presentations, visit customers/sites, negotiate contracts and close deals, leveraging experience, excellent communication, negotiation, know-how and presentation skills.
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure seamless sales and support as well as customer satisfaction.
6. Provide up-to-date insights on market trends and competition in corrosion protection industry globally
Qualifications
7. Bachelor’s degree in polymer engineering, material science, chemical engineering or a business discipline (marketing, management). A master’s degree is beneficial.
8. Proven track record in B2B sales management, preferably in industrial coatings or chemicals.
9. Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to think strategically and identify new business opportunities.
10. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills in German and English.
11. Analytical, creative and organizational abilities, including planning promotional campaigns, negotiating contracts and directing marketing staff.
12. Existing network in the corrosion protection industry is advantageous.
Remuneration
13. €90 000 – €140 000 OTE (On‑Target Earnings), including performance bonus of roughly 15–25 % of earnings.
