About the Role
The Bioprocess Account Manager - Germany Southwest (d/f/m) is pivotal in driving customer success aligned with Cytiva's strategy. You will own the overall customer relationship across your accounts, serving as the primary contact between our company and our customers. Your role will involve growing the business through a deep understanding of the market, customer needs, and our product portfolio.
This position reports to the Bioprocess Territory Manager, Central South, and is part of the Central Bioprocess Sales Team. It is a fully remote position, ideally suited for candidates located in Southwest Germany.
What You Will Do
* Understand and map customer contacts within selected accounts, building strong business relationships through regular field visits to grasp their challenges and issues. Position Cytiva as a trusted partner aligned with our vision.
* Take personal responsibility for your budget by driving Cytiva's commercial positioning and actively seeking new business opportunities to accelerate growth.
* Collaborate with sales specialists in designing and executing account business plans, playing a key role in fostering effective teamwork within a complex matrix sales environment.
* Support business development and marketing initiatives in the field to enhance market share within your allocated accounts.
* Accurately forecast sales and growth opportunities within your designated territory using sales tools and applications.
Who You Are
* Bachelor's Degree in Science or Business, or equivalent experience.
* At least five years of sales experience with a proven track record as a Life Science Sales Representative or Sales Manager.
* Deep understanding of Bioprocess customers' needs and business drivers, using this knowledge to develop effective account plans and strategies.
* A self-starter who can manage time effectively, organize, and prioritize workload.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork and communication abilities.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
* Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
* A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
It Would Be a Plus If You Also Possess
* Business market knowledge.
* Strong negotiation skills for price agreements.
* Familiarity with systems and tools such as Sales Force and QlikSense.
