Role Overview: The Sales Manager Auto TPE is accountable for managing from a sales perspective TPE in European countries, focusing on growing sales and EBITDA. Support the growth of automotive business and projects at Trinseo. Primarily focal point for our organization in front of the customer: lead the resources required to effectively manage the customer (TS&D, CSR, Supply Chain, product management), and manage communication to the customer Develop and build relationships with internal and external customers, influencers, decision makers and sponsors through daily contacts: for Tiers in the area of responsibility. Understand and proactively analyze customer’s product and service needs. Recognize, anticipate, and solve customer problems by working collaboratively. Use extensive knowledge of customers’ total needs and our product offerings to form account strategies and plans identify, assess and prioritize value growth and operational excellence initiatives which results in an increase of Trinseo market share. Define annual, value-creating goals consistent with business and account strategy. Monitor, track and report monthly progress of agreed indicators vs. plan for the accounts in the defined region. Own sales process (Contracts, Pricing Agreements, Volume commitments, Rebates, Credit management, forecasting): negotiate terms of sales at Customer interface, capture orders and finish order process, deliver of IBE’s expectations (monthly rolling forecast) Demonstrate sales excellence : Efficient and smooth use of tools and written communication and reporting, clean and clear plans and reports communicated in a professional and usable way, efficient negotiation tactics for complex projects. Use SalesForce to manage sales and business development process Business development : Create a pipeline of value growth projects and conduct product spec-in trials in local contract manufacturers and molders which are managed in Salesforce.com tool. Develop and maintain broad market intelligence to understand customer’s organization and structure, competitive situation, trends and future needs. Share with internal support functions (TS&D, CSRs, Marketing, etc) to promote increased revenue and value.
