What's the role?
We are looking for an intern in the field of Strategic Procurement for Electronics & Drives for at least 6 months starting immediately.
You will help develop new tools to increase productivity and support various recently relevant strategic procurement topics. In doing so, you will work independently using SAP, PowerBI, Excel & PowerPoint to optimize our global supply chain together with our cross-functional colleagues.
You should live within a 50 KM radius of Kaufering to ensure easy commuting.

What does the role involve?
1. Take ownership of individual projects, such as developing and implementing cross-departmental, data-driven dashboards
2. Contribute to the preparation and execution of material group strategies
3. Support strategic initiatives through in-depth analysis and implementation tasks
4. Assist with supplier negotiations, contract awards, and project-related inquiries
5. Maintain and update Hilti’s global ERP systems
6. Explore additional areas of responsibility based on your personal interests and strengths
7. Customize your internship experience with flexible and evolving responsibilities

What you need is:
8. At least advanced bachelor studies, ., in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration with technical content, Electrical Engineering, or similar
9. Conscientious, proactive working style, team spirit, and quick analytical comprehension
10. Excel skills, ideally with VBA programming knowledge
11. (Initial) SAP knowledge desirable
12. PowerBI knowledge is an advantage
13. Experience in initial projects or internships is a plus
14. Independent and responsible working style
15. Very good German and English skills
16. Interest in technical topics
