We are seeking a Founder’s Associate to the CTO (m/f/d) to work directly with our founders (one technical, two business-focused). This pivotal role requires a critical thinker who can deeply understand software, AI, and business dynamics to drive strategic decisions and technical initiatives. This is more than just a hands-on technical role; With regular client interaction forming a key part of your responsibilities, this role also offers a clear pathway for growth into a tech lead or head of our AI platform position.
Work directly with our founders as a co-product owner for our open-source based AI chat platform, taking a leading role in defining its roadmap and strategy.
Provide expert technical advice to clients and internal project leads on matters surrounding our platform and the strategic application of LLMs.
Contribute directly to the development of new platform features and actively engage with the open-source projects that form our technological foundation.
Collaborate on client projects to design, develop, and implement advanced (AI-based) workflows across various business functions, ensuring practical and impactful solutions.
A strong background in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of software principles and systems.
Linux environments, containerisation technologies (e.g., Software engineering best practices and principles; Experience taking responsibility for technical decisions or a clear desire and aptitude to act as a technical lead, driving solutions from conception to deployment.
GenAI & LLM Enthusiasm: Demonstrated interest in and ideally hands-on experience with Large Language Models and their practical applications in software development and business processes.
Fluent in German (at least C1 level) and professional proficiency in English, essential for collaborating with our German-speaking clients and contributing to open-source communities.
Experience contributing to open-source projects.
Prior experience in a fast-paced startup or early-stage technology company.
Familiarity with product management methodologies and tools.
