About the Role
* Secure, reliable and trustworthy ICT systems and services is a leading research and innovation centre at an international research university with a distinctly multilingual and interdisciplinary character.
This role requires researchers from diverse academic backgrounds to contribute to projects in areas such as Network Security, Information Assurance, Model-driven Security, Cloud Computing, Cryptography, Satellite Systems, Vehicular Networks, and ICT Services & Applications. This involves bringing together various stakeholders who are passionate about technology and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* A Master's degree required and a doctoral degree would be seen as an asset.
* A proven experience in a similar role is considered as an advantage.
* Easily communicates with scientists, understands objectives of different stakeholders in the technology transfer process.
* Experience with existing space-related funding opportunities (e.g. EU, EUSPA, EDA, ESA).
* Demonstrate solid experience in bringing research results to the market.
A strong network of contacts across the industry value chain in relation to SnT Space Strategic Research Area, namely in the Luxembourg ecosystem is needed. The candidate should have fluency in English, and German or French are considered a plus. Strong business experience in the fields of ICT and digital services in general and particularly in telecom, cybersecurity, data analytics, artificial intelligence, robotics or other areas relevant in the SnT research application areas is also important. Additionally, they must demonstrate solid experience in building trusted business relations and a professional attitude.
