This will require managing and influencing a wide variety of stakeholders. This role will lead the ARDx ID Sales Team in Germany North Region.The Sales Manager will drive the strategy of the ARDx ID Business Unit in these sectors, while being exemplary in living the Abbott values in collaborating with their colleagues in other Abbott divisions in generating solutions for customers. The role of the Sales Manager Germany North, Infectious Disease provides management and leadership to the commercial organisation in the North Region in the execution of the sales and business development strategy in a manner that is compliant with Abbott guidelines and Abbott Ethical policies.Responsibilities and DutiesDeliver short- & long-term volume, sales, profit & market share goals by developing and delivering Organisational Excellence within our commercial organisationManage the portfolio and sell and train products in various market segments, to various types of customers (public, private) and environments (emergency services, laboratories, economic departments), both through sales reps and in own accountsDevelop a high-performance team with strength-in-depth ensuring succession planning where appropriate for all key positions/skill setsDefinition of sales strategy in collaboration with the General Manager Region West to achieve and reflect company goalsBuild relationships and be able to access the C-level of hospitals to present value proposition for Abbott productsIdentify potential targets for strategic partnerships/alliancesRemain attentive to customer needs and problems and take the necessary steps to respond to or solve themPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecastsDevelop well trusted and in-depth relationships with public and commercial payer stakeholders, interfacing with Key Opinion Leaders, developing strategies to address market access barriers and supporting the sales forceUnderstand, describe, prioritize and liaise with most relevant (influential, accessible) market access stakeholders (payers, governmental bodies, industry associations, professional associations and other stakeholders) for local ARDx organization/businessCollaborate with other functions (especially Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Market Access, Finance, Customer service)Ensure the Commercial operation is compliant with all relevant legal, regulatory, tax & ethical boundariesEmployee Recruiting and participation at job interviewsQualification:At least 5 years' sales management experience in the in-vitro diagnostics marketHigh level of initiative, success driven, responsibility, accountability and agilityConsistent track record of achieving profitable growthDemonstrable track record in negotiation success, securing contractsIdeally experience delivering change initiatives and facilitating change in a customer focused organisationAbility to think innovatively and not be constrained by current practicesExperience in CRM systemsAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsDemonstrated ability to maintain positive people relationships and build strong links with all departments in a company matrix structurePossesses flexibility and ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situationsfluent in German, highly proficient in EnglishFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
