The Role
As Facility Manager (Germany), you will lead the facilities strategy across our German estate, with potential future international scope. Reporting to the Group Maintenance Director, you will define and implement a proactive, efficient, and scalable maintenance model that ensures operational excellence, cost control, and the highest standards across all restaurants. Your mission: move from reactive to preventative maintenance while supporting growth and protecting our assets.
What You'll Do
* Maintenance & Asset Strategy: Implement and manage a strong Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme; oversee minor refurbishments, asset replacements, and equipment upgrades; minimise downtime and operational disruption; ensure full statutory compliance, warranty alignment, and adherence to B-Corp & ISO50001 standards.
* Contractor & Supplier Management: Select, negotiate, and manage specialist contractors; define KPIs/SLIs and hold suppliers accountable; build and maintain a reliable contractor network across Germany; ensure high-quality service delivery at optimal cost.
* Budget & Operational Oversight: Manage maintenance budgets, capex projects, and dilapidation provisions; partner closely with restaurant and operations teams; develop and structure the in-house maintenance team as the business grows.
What We're Looking For
* Strong experience in facilities and maintenance management;
* Solid technical knowledge of building services and PPM programmes;
* Proven ability to define and execute maintenance strategies;
* Budget management and commercial awareness;
* Knowledge of building control and fire regulations;
* Excellent planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills;
* Autonomous and proactive mindset with strong leadership capabilities;
* Strong communication skills (French, Italian, or Spanish are a plus);
* Willingness to travel across Germany and potentially internationally.
