Job Overview
As an Airside Engineer, you will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet technical and operational requirements. Your responsibilities will include defining concepts, solutions, and methodologies to address airport constraints and needs.
You will develop specifications, plans, and invitations to tender, conduct risk analyses, and monitor budgets for airport maintenance projects. Additionally, you will plan, coordinate, and organize project execution, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications and allocated resources.
Other key tasks include supporting the development of the Geographic Information System (GIS) and updating its data, as well as providing documentation updates and following up on their provision. You will also take charge of internal preventive and corrective maintenance activities for airport civil engineering infrastructures and manage external maintenance activities for technical and electrical installations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in civil or electrical engineering or equivalent experience, with at least 10 years of experience in these fields. Desirable skills include knowledge of EASA regulations, experience with airport infrastructure installation and maintenance, and familiarity with Luxembourg public procurement regulations and documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, along with specific knowledge of project management tools (MS Project), CAD tools (Autocad, GIS-ESRI), and bus system (EIB/KNX). Fluency in English and French is mandatory, with German/Luxembourgish knowledge being an asset.
