Production Leader

Mission and Role
Direct, coordinate and manage, directly or by proxy, all production operations and related activities
• to be responsible for production costs, production quality and quantity, methods and effective use
of production hours, personnel, machine, equipment and facilities
• operationally manage production schedules, personnel requirements and controls during production
activities;
• achieve the objectives of planned production, investigate delays and initiate corrective actions to
ensure efficient production through efficient procedures;
• Coordinate and implement procedures and programs relating to the production area (e.g. training,
personnel, safety, cleaning etc): and enforce company rules, procedures and policies.
• Act in the respect of safety company guidelines, company strategy, by managing correctly the
communication flow
Responsibilities and tasks
• Cooperate with the Industrial Department to achieve company goals.
• Manage autonomously the production process, guaranteeing production within the defined times,
quantities and quality standards
• Direct and coordinate the activities of the Production Department, manage relations with the
company sectors.
• Monitoring the correct activity in SAP for what concern production orders in line with the guidelines
received by Supply Chain for raw material
• Manage shifts and plan the presence of the production personnel
• Provide guidelines for production, coordinate company for production items.
• Ensure the implementation of the directives and plans within the deadlines, through the efficient and
effective management of the resources for which it is responsible
• Managing any irregularities that may be found in the Production Sector and failure to achieve to
objectives assigned to the Function
• Make more and more efficient the production process by taking in account company standard rules
of quality and safety.
• Propose to Industrial Department initiatives aimed to optimize production efficiency
• Disclose to internal stakeholder regulatory updates of its competence which have impacts on other
activities
• Create, manage and fine-tuning of production orders in order Optimize Raw Materials management and
usage based on material availability, pursuing and being in compliance with Company targets in terms of
product quality and costs;
• Manage of the formulation in the mixing area
• Improve motivation and competences of the production team by assigning goals and guidelines and
work on their professional development
• Apply and enforce company policy and procedures by collaborators periodically and work to issue
any suggestion in term of improvement
• Manage any reporting for what concerns data and results of production function.
• Be the point of contact with HSE manager for what concern safety items in production function
• Cooperate with R&D and QA leader for all the activities finalized to monitor and improve production
processes
• Manage all the activities needed to improve the quality of the product in cooperation with R&D and
QA Function
• To act as role model for all operators involved in production function
