Human Resources Business Partner I The Human Resources Business Partner I (HRBP I) serves as a partner to first and mid-level management supporting assigned business units in areas including: performance management/improvement, employee relations, development and employee engagement. The HRBP I seeks to proactively anticipate business needs working to elevate the companyu2019s performance and employee experience. The HRBP I formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP I may include international human resource responsibilities. What youu2019ll be doing: Manages and provides guidance on all employee relations for assigned business including performance management, conflict management & resolution, internal investigations, retention, career development, etc. Coordinates & executes HR programs such as: performance review process & cadences, mobility, employee opinion surveys/action plans, etc. Expected to be the subject matter expert for assigned business unit on various HR systems including HRIS and third-party survey program. Ensures consistency of best practices and company rollouts across business units Process, verify and maintain documentation as needed. Guides and administers off-boarding processes and actions. Conducts exit interviews and partners with business units on trends providing relevant information, follow up and guidance to required managers. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR leadership to develop solutions, programs and policies. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, mitigating legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. May assist in the development of policies and job descriptions. Identifies management, soft skills, HR related and/or compliance training needs for business units. Will be responsible for facilitating manager training. Assist HR Manager with project work including mergers and acquisitions as needed. Other duties as assigned. What weu2019re looking for: Must be bi-lingual in German and English A minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience with progressive responsibility in a combination of related functional areas (i.e. Employee Relations (required), Performance Management (preferred), Talent Development, Recruiting, Compensation, Training, Benefits) or equivalent management experience in another business function with experience successfully applying these concepts. Ability to adapt quickly to changes in scope or direction and be flexible to adopting changes quickly. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work fast under deadlines. Business acumen to provide effective support. Demonstrated success developing key relationships across various levels of leadership to effectively influence decisions. Working knowledge of HR policy, procedure and federal, state & country laws regarding employment practices for assigned region. Ability to work through ambiguity and willingness to take initiative to solve complex problems. HRIS software experience. Bonus Points: CIPD, HRCI or SHRM Certification Experience facilitating instructor-led training. Working with employee populations across multiple states (if applicable) and/or countries. Management experience in HR or another business function. Education: Bacheloru2019s degree required. Travel: 10%
