As part of the Bioanalytics & Bioinformatics PM team at BioNTech, you will join a motivated and dynamic team who provide project management support for cross-functional teams in a variety of projects to support the development of our technology platforms. This specific position is to support Translational Sciences teams to manage and coordinate the timely delivery for clinical programs.
Please note: This position is a temporary replacement for 1 year and cannot be offered on a permanent basis.
Your main responsibilities are.
* Managing timelines of translational science activities to support biomarker deliverables within clinical trials and across assets in close interaction with Translational Science (TS) department and other internal stakeholders
* Cross-functional planning (incl. definition of scope, tasks, work packages and deliverables), coordination, and monitoring of project progress (incl. budget, timelines, quality, risk management)
* Coordinating and ensuring efficient communication structures among internal or external stakeholders and drive documenting outcomes (scheduling meetings, preparation of agenda and minutes etc., reporting)
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools to drive efficiency, enhance business value, improved engagement and project oversight
* Drive multiple interdisciplinary teams to ensure project scope and goals are delivered in desired time and quality
* Build, maintain, and manage high performing project teams
What you have to offer.
* Experience of project management tasks during studies or time in industry, desirable but not essential to have previous working experience in a regulated environment (e.g. GCP/GCLP, GMP, CLIA)
* A strong background in one or more of the following areas: Infectious Diseases, Translational Sciences, Clinical Research
* Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
* Self-starter with fast perception of new knowledge and efficient problem-solving skills with high personal commitment within a matrix and fast paced environment
* Willingness to handle complex projects across multiple departments and with collaboration partners
* Very good English skills, written and orally (German skills are a plus)
