Tasks & responsibilities With your strategic prowess, negotiation skills, and assertive nature, you'll be all set to professionally prepare, align and execute important negotiations with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) or Suppliers together with your internal key business partner. Your strong contribution on this will sustainably (re)define the bottom-line success of the respective business unit of your business partner. You'll be the driving force behind implementing innovative processes that lead to external cost reduction and in addition yet foremost challenge current status quo with our CMOs and Suppliers by applying e.g. should-cost models. Besides, you'll be on the hunt for new suppliers, evaluate current and potential ones, and foster strong relationships with existing and new business partners. When it comes to supply-related risks, you'll work hand in hand with internal business partners and local purchasers to identify, assess, and categorize sourcing risks and devise risk mitigation strategies. You'll also craft and execute category strategies in full alignment youu2019re your business partner and serve as the go-to person for assigned business partners for Sourcing, providing support on cross-category issues and sharing relevant information. Requirements Masteru2019s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Logistics, alternatively bachelor's degree with additional several years of relevant experience Several years of experience in internationally action sourcing organization(s), having led medium to highly complex contract negotiations and some exposure to crafting category strategies and preferably initial experience in a GxP regulated environment Profound understanding on how cost-analyzing methods such as clean-sheeting or should-cost calculation are executed and used to enhance your position towards external partners Knowledge in supplier and business partner relationship management, markets in API / Chemistry and/or CDMO would be preferred as well as supplier analysis and demand management Experience in risk management, risk mitigation and compliance (including due diligence) Open-minded, motivated, persuasive, and perseverant personality with outstanding internal and external relationship management skills and willingness to take on responsibility Fluency in English, German knowledge is a plus Ready to contact us?
