Join our team in Biedenkopf-Wallau at GEA Food Solutions Germany GmbH as Product Sales Manager (m/f/d). In this exciting role you are dedicated to identifying and developing new business opportunities, driving sales and order intake for GEA’s slicing & packaging machinery and related product range. GEA Food Solutions in Biedenkopf-Wallau stands for innovative technology and international perspectives. More than 330 employees develop and assemble high-performance machines for food processing and packaging – from meat and fish to cheese and vegetables. As part of the global GEA Group, we combine technological excellence with sustainable solutions and offer diverse responsibilities in a future-oriented environment. Responsibilities Take ownership in identifying leads and developing them into tangible sales opportunities. Manage the sales pipeline and participate on international tradeshows as product specialist, building up and maintaining customer relationships. Act as the primary link between offices, customers, agents and internal departments (Engineering, Marketing, Order Management, Application Engineers, Planning, Trial Centre) to ensure a smooth sales trajectory. Support projects such as the implementation of guided sales methodologies, enhancement of quotation quality and development of presentation materials together with marketing. Central management of key global accounts for slicing & packaging, maintaining high-level relationships and understanding their unique business needs. Coordinate internally and externally to ensure seamless communication and service delivery, actively pursuing opportunities to deepen GEA's partnership with these accounts. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent in a relevant technical or commercial discipline. Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a sales role, mechanical engineering within the manufacturing industry. Strong technical understanding of mechanical engineering specifically slicing & packaging for food applications. Proven track record as a proactive sales engineer, possessing strong initiative, persuasive communication skills and high commercial acumen. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy in all sales-related activities. Flexible regarding working hours in terms of different time zones to accommodate international travel and varying customer needs. Fluent language skills in English and German (written and spoken); proficiency in French or Spanish is beneficial. Travel requirements: up to 50% international travel.
