Summary:
Develop and execute sourcing strategy for Cable category globally in order to optimize total cost and leadtime and leverage the volume of different CoE’s. Responsible to coordinate sourcing activities together with Strategic Buyers at the CoE´s for global category, lead major negotiations with suppliers globally in cooperation with Strategic Buyers at the CoE´s.
Responsabilities:
1. Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify CoE’s supply chain- and project needs, participate in negotiations of contracts and terms with suppliers, ensuring favorable pricing and leadtime, quality standards.
2. Stay updated on market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for cost improvement moments and innovations, keep key stakeholders updated.
3. Ensure compliance with legal, ESH, regulatory and company standards, market required cert. in supplier selection, contracting and ongoing management.
4. Strategic sourcing & Strategic category management for cables
5. Identify new suppliers competitive and evaluate current supplier performance.
6. Make supplier risk assessment.
7. Build and maintain long term relationships with suppliers.
8. Drive cost saving initiatives.
9. Lead to develop new suppliers and related sourcing activities for global category.
10. Run global RFQs.
11. Support project team with best cost to win projects.
Requirements:
12. Previews expertise link to fabrication, mechanical application to system/model solutions link to Cavotec complex projects.
13. Familiar with supplier evaluation and selection methodologies, including risk assessment and performance management.
14. Good knowledge of sourcing best practice, sourcing process and supply chain management principles
15. Hands on attitude with ability to build consensus and drive changes.
16. Strong sense of responsibility, good ability to work under stress.
17. Major degree in Mechanical engineering
18. 10 -15 years or above professional experience in sourcing, category management
19. Global business/market saving for fabrication and mechanical applications.
20. Proven tract records in managing global supplier relationship, contract negotiations and delivery saving within global companies.
21. Ability to work in cross-functional, global team environment.
22. Keep in pulse of global material trends
23. Well-rounded with commercial experience and Engineer BA (or above) background.
24. Experience from working for a global international company.
25. Knowledge of the English language is essential
