Your Responsibilities
You will take full responsibility for demanding development projects in mechanical and plant engineering – from the initial idea through to successful implementation. You combine technical excellence with economic thinking and lead interdisciplinary teams to project success.
* Lead and manage complex development projects (potentially as part of large-scale projects)
* Initiate and support technical feasibility studies (hardware and software interfaces)
* Evaluate components regarding reusability and market applicability
* Plan resources, budgets, milestones, and project schedules
* Conduct risk and cost assessments and manage project controlling
* Manage external partners and suppliers
* Ensure quality, on-time delivery, and cost-effectiveness
* Provide technical leadership to the project team
Your Profile
* Degree in mechanical engineering or comparable field – alternatively an equivalent qualification with solid practical experience
* Several years of experience managing development projects in mechanical or plant engineering
* Strong knowledge in design engineering, technical interfaces, and ideally in automation or embedded systems
* Experience in budget planning and project controlling
* Structured work style, strong decision-making skills, and leadership ability
* Very good German and English language skills
