What you will do:
As VP Merchandising, Buying & Planning, you will oversee Aeyde’s global merchandising and buying strategy, leading assortment planning, inventory steering, and purchasing decisions across all commercial channels. This role will be central, with a strong connection to Finance and Supply Chain, and will drive commercial decisions across the collection creation and selling process. It will maintain a strong balance between brand and performance. It informs product decisions and steers overall process execution, enabling sustainable growth, strong profitability, and operational excellence.
You will work closely with the CEO and CFO to align merchandising and planning strategies with the company’s overall financial goals.
You will lead a lean, agile, collaborative, high-performing team of experts. In this role, you will play a key role in shaping Aeyde’s next stage of growth.
Merchandising Strategy & Planning
* Define and execute seasonal and long-term merchandising strategies aligned with brand positioning, channel mix and growth targets.
* Owns full product P&L including margin and inventory targets.
* Define seasonal collection size and structure, including NOS assortments.
* Ensure the commercial viability of the collection with the right price points across key markets.
* Manage the full collection creation critical path and timelines.
Buying & Inventory Management
* Lead demand and inventory forecasting across DTC and wholesale channels.
* Manage OTB and buying to drive sales performance while mitigating inventory risk for the D2C channel.
* Manage sell-in and sell-out, and own all markdown activities.
* Build and lead a 360° inventory management and channel management strategy.
Merchandising Operations
* Oversee all merchandising operations functions, including sample management, product content creation, and marketing materials.
* Manage cross-functional planning between Merchandising and Marketing.
Cross-Functional Leadership
* Lead and develop the merchandising team, fostering a high-performance, data-driven culture.
* Act as a key partner to Product, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to ensure alignment from concept to campaign rollout.
* Support international expansion by tailoring assortments to regional markets.
What you will bring:
* 8+ years of experience in merchandising and/or planning, ideally within fashion, luxury, and/or footwear.
* Graduate (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) in Fashion Management, Economics, Business, or a related fields.
* Proven leadership experience in scaling DTC and wholesale businesses.
* Strong analytical mindset with deep expertise in inventory management, forecasting, and financial planning.
* Experience working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
* Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
* Familiar with Excel, tools & planning systems.
