Project Manager - Program Management Office (PMO)
Join our Program Management Office and help us drive innovation to bring cutting-edge encoder and motion control solutions to life. As a Project Manager, you'll lead cross-functional product development projects from early concept through launch and beyond. You'll work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and Supply Chain to turn ideas into reality - delivering high-quality products on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
* Manage new product introduction (NPI) projects from start to finish using Agile Development Process (APD).
* Define project scope, develop the project plan, set milestones, oversee risk management, and keep everything on track-time, budget, and quality.
* Coordinate with R&D, Product Management, Operations, and Quality to ensure designs meet customer needs and can be manufactured efficiently.
* Lead concept evaluations and technical readiness reviews, using tools like FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis).
* Monitor progress daily and keep stakeholders informed with clear, timely updates.
* Own and track key performance metrics like design completion, cost targets, and operational readiness.
* Drive continuous improvement using Ralliant Business System (RBS) tools.
* Support portfolio planning by highlighting risks, trade-offs, and resource needs.
* Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical field; PMP or advanced degree is a plus.
* 5+ years of experience managing complex product development projects in industrial automation or similar high-tech environments.
* Hands-on experience with Agile and Lean Product Development methods.
* Strong technical background and a focus on quality and cost.
* Excellent communication skills-you can engage engineers, leadership, and customers with confidence.
* Fluent in English and German; experience working in international teams is a big advantage.
