The Channel Sales Representative for Research Chemicals is tasked with developing and managing relationships with channel partners, focusing specifically on the sales of Research Chemicals to laboratories, research institutions, and industrial clients. This position requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, regulatory compliance, and the unique needs of research customers. The position will also require working closely with marketing, Customer Care, Procurement, technical support, and product management teams to maximize sales opportunities and ensure partner success. This position will be based out of Germany or Austria and will be traveling extensively throughout the DACH region. Key Responsibilities: 1. Channel Partner Development: 2. Identify and recruit new channel partners, including distributors and resellers. 3. Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing partners to drive revenue growth. 4. Conduct training sessions for partners on product offerings, applications, compliance, and market trends. 5. Sales Strategy Implementation: 6. Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor sales strategies and promotional materials specifically for the Research Chemicals market. 7. Develop and execute joint sales plans with channel partners to meet and exceed sales objectives. 8. Utilize sales planning and pipeline management through the CRM and other Company systems and tools. 14. Regulatory Compliance and Technical Support: 15. Ensure that channel partners adhere to all regulatory requirements associated with the distribution and sale of research chemicals. 16. Facilitate communication between channel partners and the internal technical support team to address customer issues. 17. Cross-departmental Collaboration: 18. Work closely with the product management team to inform them of partner feedback and market needs for new product development. 19. Collaborate with the marketing team to create specialized promotional campaigns aimed at increasing awareness and sales of research chemicals. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, business, or related field; a masteru2019s degree or Ph.D. in chemistry or related discipline is highly advantageous. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Sales, Account or Channel management, preferably within research chemicals or related industry. Proven track record of achieving sales growth through channel partners. Skills: Strong understanding of research chemical products, their applications, and regulatory environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly. Fluent in English & German. Any other language is an advantage Proficient in data analysis tools. Personal Attributes: Self-motivated and results-driven individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Working Conditions: Travel is required to meet with partners and customers, attend trade shows, and participate in industry conferences.
