They are currently seeking a skilled MEP Project Manager to join a dynamic team and oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of our data centre projects in Germany.
As an MEP Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of MEP systems within data centre projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that all MEP components are designed, installed, and maintained to meet industry standards and client specifications. Your expertise will be crucial in managing project timelines, budgets, and quality control while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and execution of MEP systems for data centre projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop and review MEP designs, specifications, and drawings.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely delivery of MEP components within budget constraints.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the timely procurement and installation of MEP systems.
Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all MEP work meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, budget forecasts, and risk assessments, to senior management and stakeholders.
Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) as an MEP Project Manager, preferably in data centre construction or similar high-tech environments.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in Germany.
Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Fluent in English, German is a plus
