Job Summary
NetApp is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Sales Manager to lead a team of sales professionals and drive revenue growth. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sales goals, building partnerships, and coaching your team to success.
Your Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage a team of sales representatives to exceed sales targets.
2. Develop strategies and plans to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.
3. Utilize your strong understanding of storage technologies and competitive offerings.
4. Apply effective sales techniques such as target account selling and solution selling.
5. Coach and develop team members to maximize their potential.
Job Requirements
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English are required.
7. Strong relationship building and collaboration abilities.
8. Deep knowledge of storage technologies and market trends.
9. Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
10. Experience in coaching and developing sales professionals.
11. Minimum 8 years of field sales experience and 2 years of people management experience with direct reports required.
12. College degree or equivalent experience required.
This is a pipeline position that will be opened on a recurring basis and used to fill roles aligned with the required skill sets. Recruiting efforts will be ongoing until specific teams find an ideal match.
