Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Product Manager to join our product management team. In this role, you will take responsibility for a defined part of our diagnostics product portfolio and contribute to shaping its strategy, development, and market success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and play a key role in translating scientific concepts into customer-focused product solutions. As part of an international and dynamic young team, you will also have the opportunity to actively shape processes that enhance collaboration and product quality.
Tasks
* Product Management: Manage a segment of the product portfolio across the lifecycle, including planning, development, and market support.
* Strategy Contribution: Contribute to product strategy based on market insights, customer feedback, and business priorities.
* Scientific Collaboration: Work closely with R&D teams to understand product performance and translate scientific data into clear value propositions.
* Market Analysis: Conduct market and competitor analyses to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
* Product Marketing: Support the development of product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market activities in collaboration with marketing.
* Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, sales, marketing, and scientific affairs to ensure smooth product development and commercialization.
* Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders and support interactions with external partners when needed.
* Performance Monitoring: Track product performance and contribute to ongoing optimization initiatives.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biotechnology, Biomedicine, Business, Marketing); a scientific background is strongly preferred.
* 2–5 years of experience in product management or a related role, ideally in healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences.
* Solid understanding of product management fundamentals and market analysis.
* Ability to grasp and communicate complex scientific concepts clearly.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* Structured, proactive, and collaborative working style.
* Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
