The Product Management Applications division at KUKA Robotics is responsible for innovative software application products for various industrial processes from the idea to the end of the product life cycle. The Product Management department, consisting of Strategic Product Management, Applications, Software and Mechatronics, is reporting directly to the management board. It is a central organizational unit and an important link between the regions, sales and R&D.
Make an impact
* Product management in the field of Interfaces, handling applications and strategic partnering
* Evaluation of technological trends, competition and market needs
* Evaluation of customer requirements and creation of value propositions
* Management of internal and external stakeholders for the definition of product requirements - customer, partner, business developer, sales and key account manager, general manager
* Validation of product concepts and market acceptance with lead customers and partners
* Definition of Go to market - strategies incl. marketing storyline
* Market analysis and product performance monitoring, incl. definition of measures to ensure market success, profitability and competitiveness
* Management of the whole product life cycle
* Development and implementation of portfolio and partnering strategies for robot applications and AI software
* Strategic partner management
What you need to succeed
* Completed master's degree in engineering, computer science or a comparable qualification
* At least 5 years of experience in product management
* Experience in development and implementation of business, partnering and portfolio strategies
* Experience with building sustainable software architectures and AI software development
* Market knowledge of automation and robot-based applications
* Stakeholder and project management experience
* Excellent communication, moderation and presentation skills – internal on all company levels and external with partners and customers
* Willingness to travel
* Strong Intercultural skills
* Excellent English skills
