The role
The (Senior) Category Manager Logistics will be responsible for overseeing strategic sourcing and contracting in HelloFresh International for First Mile Middle Mile and Last Mile which include collaboration with business to optimize commercials e.g. for inhouse logistics 3PW (warehouse) linehaul and carriers. The goal is to collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders and major suppliers in all international markets (focus Europe) and help them to navigate the procurement landscape. In addition the role will be supporting initiatives targeted to increase the maturity level of Indirect Procurements processes and systems landscape. As part of the Facilities and Logistics Procurement team the position will report to the respective cluster lead based in Berlin.

What youll do
* Conduct detailed spend analysis and benchmarking evaluate market and competitive conditions and use as a basis to create data based category strategies and sourcing activities
* Align and execute a sourcing roadmap with key stakeholders in the HQ and the local markets to deliver PL savings and overall procurement value
* Develop and optimize the supplier portfolio across Hello Freshs international markets
* Cultivate and manage close (senior level) relationships with business partners within Operations to support their objectives and the company growth agenda
* Act as the central point of contact for any Logistics related procurement questions
* Design and maintain category reporting to senior executives and internal stakeholders
* Lead or participate in the implementation of bestinclass procurement processes and tools
What youll bring
1. Minimum 5 years in Logistics procurement
2. Deep knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology category management and supplier management
3. Excellent analytical skills attention to detail and enjoy working independently
4. Experience in spend and market analyses as well as benchmarking
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills including preparing and delivering presentations and reports
6. Demonstrated change management and project management skills
7. Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build trust and credibility with business partners
