Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a D F&O Project Manager for a remote consulting opportunity with one of our premier clients.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven M&A Project Manager with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics (D) implementations, particularly within the Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations modules. The ideal candidate will lead ERP workstreams in support of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, ensuring successful integration or separation of systems and processes.
This role requires strong project management skills, a thorough understanding of M&A lifecycle processes, and hands-on experience with D implementations in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead D project workstreams across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations during M&A integrations and carve-outs.
2. Drive end-to-end project management of ERP transitions for acquired or divested entities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
3. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to assess existing processes, design future-state operating models, and configure D accordingly.
4. Coordinate cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and external vendors.
5. Oversee data migration, system integration, and process harmonization activities related to D.
6. Identify and mitigate risks related to system transitions, business continuity, and compliance.
7. Ensure timely delivery of project milestones within scope and budget.
8. Establish and maintain governance structures, including regular status reporting and steering committee updates.
9. Provide post-go-live support and transition to operational support teams.
10. Serve as a subject matter expert on D Finance and Operations best practices in an M&A context.
Required Qualifications:
11. Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field (MBA or PMP a plus).
12. + years of experience in ERP project management, with at least + years specific to Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations (D F&O).
13. Proven track record of managing ERP workstreams during M&A integrations or carve-outs.
14. Strong understanding of finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets), supply chain functions (Inventory, Procurement, Warehousing), and operations within D.
15. Experience with data migration, legacy system decommissioning, and third-party integration in an M&A context.
16. Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
17. Ability to work across multiple time zones and manage distributed teams.
