Job Description
* During your internship, you will support us in the integration of digital production solutions along the shopfloor (e.g. ticketing systems, (Andon) dashboards, experience and knowledge systems).
* You will support us in the implementation of proof-of-concepts (PoCs), especially for integrating multiple applications (e.g. event - ticket - knowledge provision).
* Furthermore, you will configure and extend of integration and automation solutions, such as Node-RED, interfaces and data flows.
* Last but not least, you will document the use cases, data flows and technical concepts, as well as support during roll-outs and testing.
Qualifications
* Education: studies in the field of engineering, e.g. industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or comparable
* Experience and Knowledge: basic understanding of IT systems, web applications and data flows; first experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript) is an advantage
* Qualification: first exposure to automation, integration or low-code platforms (e.g. Node-RED) is an advantage; basic knowledge of APIs, databases or Linux environments is an advantage
* Personality and Working Practice: structured and independent way of working; good communication skills and enjoyment of working in international teams; initiative and motivation to take responsibility
* Work Routine: hybrid working model combining office-based and mobile work
* Enthusiasm: for digitalization, automation and networked production systems; interest in practical IT solutions with a direct connection to the shopfloor; strong interest in understanding complex systems and interrelationships; interest in digitalization and in digital production or logistics processes
* Languages: fluent in English

Duration: 6 months
