As a Technical Project Manager at EFT Mobility, you will be a significant contributor to our Project Management & Operations Team and lead some of our battery and/or charger projects for our customers within the triangle of scope, time, and cost. You will play a key role in pushing the boundaries of battery and charger technology.
You will actively work within our project teams for our battery and charger products, and lead the engineering team to achieve the project milestones and deliver battery and charger units within the defined timelines. Besides internal stakeholders, you will also be coordinating non-technical topics towards our customers as well as our suppliers.
We’re looking for someone with a very structured approach to work, proactive, and long-term planning experience, with an Engineering background. The ideal candidate is highly communicative and a good team player.
What is your Day-to-Day Mission:
* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, including product management, engineering, and manufacturing.
* Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
* Work closely with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and software developers to ensure technical requirements are met.
* Manage the design, prototyping, testing, and validation of battery packs and charger systems
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., UN, CE, IEC).
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, providing regular updates to stakeholders and supervisor
* Manage Change requests and potential scope creep from customers and other stakeholders, assessing the impact of changes on the project scope, timeline, and budget.
What you bring to the team:
* Ability to work from our offices in Munich, Germany.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in project management, with a focus on mechatronic systems
* Deep technical knowledge of mechatronics systems, BMS, power electronics and/or lithium-ion batteries
* Experience with regulatory and safety certifications (e.g., UN38.3, IEC 62133, …).
* A strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering innovative solutions
* Very good battery and battery safety knowledge
* Excellent English and German communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
