At 1KOMMA5°, we are building Europe's leading energy software platform “Heartbeat AI”. We offer a one-stop-shop for selling, installing and optimizing photovoltaics, electricity storage, heat pumps and charging stations to our customers, to significantly increase the profitability of those systems for our customers. As a member of our Product Team, you play a pivotal role in a visionary and dynamic group committed to revolutionizing the global energy sector. Shape and deliver the global product vision for building our energy business; defining how we provide, manage, and scale our energy offering across international markets. This includes full ownership of our dynamic tariffs, energy retail proposition, and service portfolio, ensuring a consistent, customer-centric experience across all regions.
Develop and harmonize the technical setup, operational processes, and partner integrations that underpin our global energy business. Create scalable standards for tariff logic, billing, metering, and market communication (Marktkommunikationsprozesse) to ensure seamless operation and compliance across markets.
Evaluate and anticipate developments across international energy markets; including regulatory frameworks, trading mechanisms, and pricing innovations, to inform product design and strategic decisions. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as an internal and external expert on energy retail operations, collaborating closely with engineering, energy operations, trading, and partner teams. Support Product Operations: Define and monitor KPIs to track product performance, operational efficiency, and profitability. Continuously identify areas for process improvement and standardization to drive scalable growth across global markets.
Drive Commercial Success: Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and sales teams to position our energy products effectively, ensuring they deliver measurable customer value and strengthen our overall market position.
4+ years of experience in product management within the energy retail, trading, or metering domain, ideally across multiple European markets.
~ Proven track record in building or scaling energy retail products or systems, including dynamic tariffs, billing, market communication processes or trading integrations.
~ Awareness of emerging business models around flexibility, dynamic pricing, and digital energy services.
Familiarity with energy market systems, metering infrastructure, energy data management, and trading or billing platforms.
~ Experience in working with engineering and data teams to implement technical integrations and automation within the retail energy value chain.
Proactive, hands-on, and motivated by the opportunity to build the global utility of the future.
Excellent written and spoken English and German.
