Ingersoll Rand is seeking a new Technology Project Manager predominantly working with the suite of Salesforce applications. This is a dynamic, fast-paced, and exciting role, reporting into the global Commercial Technologies organization, with the unique opportunity to make an impact across every business and brand in Ingersoll Rand.
Engaging with Sales, IT, and Demand Generation functions daily, this person will be instrumental in executing the future technology projects roadmap, helping define new sustainable system solutions and functional capabilities, architecting connections across systems and data sets, implementing governance models, and engaging with sales organizations to understand and interpret requirements and needs. It provides the forum to display one’s skills and competencies to many teams and leaders, creating connections for career growth opportunities ahead. As a global role, it does require periodic international travel, flexible work hours to accommodate working with teams across multiple time zones, and occasional weekend work during the testing and deployment phase.
Responsibilities
This role engages across multiple businesses and brands as part of the global Commercial Technology team leading the execution of multiple projects centered around the company’s CRM application, Salesforce.
1. Manages multiple technology projects utilizing best practices and project management tools for overall execution per budget and schedule
2. Cultivates effective relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors
3. Liaisons with IT and knowledgeable on various systems and commercial applications (web, ERP, IIoT, CRM, middleware, Google Cloud)
4. Owns the governance and maintenance of IR’s Commercial Technology 5 Playbooks, creating and updating templates, tools, process maps, and standard work documentations.
5. Collaborates at all levels of management and business stakeholders in Sales, Service, Customer Service, and Marketing to align on the company’s CRM roadmap and support successful project execution
6. Performs discovery work, investigates business objectives, generates solution options that align to the global core architecture, and provides recommendations that are applicable across the entire business
7. Develops current and future state architecture, data models, and process flows in alignment with best practices and business goals
8. Establishes standards & principles and governance frameworks
9. Supports testing, training, and deployment activities
10. Builds employee knowledge and skills related to Salesforce and CPQ applications
11. Develops policies, standards, principles, and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of Salesforce tools and technologies globally
12. Ensures Salesforce solutions are scalable, adaptable, and aligned with changing business and strategic needs, such as the company’s IoT goals supporting connected devices
13. Promotes concepts of shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flow

Qualifications:
10+ years of professional work experience involving sales and customer facing processes is required
5+ years of technology related project management experience, working with CRM, CPQ, ERPS, or web-based applications is required
Proficient at using Excel, PowerPoint, & Word or similar applications to: MS Project, Tableau, Visio, & Jira
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required.
Certifications and programming experience are a strong plus
Proficient at English, written and verbal.
Required credentials and capability to travel internationally
