YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES The Global Category Manager Professional Services & Travel is responsible for the development and maintenance of strategic initiatives in all related subcategories: consulting & business services, finance & tax services, legal & compliance services, insurance, HR services, marketing, communications & investor relations related services, dues & subscriptions, meetings & events and travel expenses. Specific responsibilities include: Development of category strategies Supplier negotiations Identification, implementation, and documentation of cost saving initiatives Strategic sourcing and application of procurement tools and levers Demand review, management and process development Overall management of supplier relationships This is a cross-functional role that will interact with various other functions across the business (mainly corporate functions) as internal customers at global level.
