We need support for our project in Dresden, so your work location will be Dresden.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
1. Provide safety training, inspections, audits and all necessary PPE for integration facility staff and subcontractors. Demonstrate leadership necessary to ensure a safe work culture.
2. Assist in reparation of Bid Docs, RFP or similar (Request for Proposal)
3. Prepare scope documents, Submittal Documents, tracking and follow-up with the Submittal Process.
4. Review and understand drawings and specifications to become completely familiar with the project scope of work.
5. Work with the Preconstruction Manager and Project Controller to understand the project value/Control Budget.
6. Work with awarded Subcontractors to align on schedule, budget, changes in scope, logistics, daily planning and weekly look-aheads.
7. Prepare preliminary visual schedules and project schedules to align with NEHP build sequence and align with the Master Project Schedule.
8. Work with Precon and Procurement Manager to prepare vendor recommendations prior to Bid Award. Review Bid Tabs in accordance with Project Guidelines for submission to client along with processing and updating RFI’s (Request for Information) and submittal logs.
9. Work with the Procurement Manager to prepare and maintain all Vendor lists and deliverables of fabrication to the Integration Shop.
10. Attend weekly job-site meetings for coordination and alignment with NEHP crew and the Construction Manager (virtual or in-person).
11. Willing/Able to travel for durations up to 2 weeks at a time to support project jobsite activities and develop competency with our operations (differs by project).
Show your expertise
12. Bachelor’s Degree in Construction or Engineering discipline or closely related subject, OR equivalent years experience.
13. Proficiency in German and English language with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
14. Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Outlook and MS Project) is a must. Working knowledge of PDF editor and File Sharing a plus.
15. High energy level, self-motivated and directed, with a keen attention to detail.
16. Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
17. Strong sense of urgency.
18. Very strong customer-service orientation.
19. Ability to solve constantly evolving problems while working with a team to find a solution that is best for the project/team.
20. High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
