Facilities Manager Location: 10783, Berlin Department: Operations Position type: Full time, onsite The role As the Facilities Manager at MPB you'll be responsible for the security of our Berlin CCC and office and for ensuring that health and safety procedures are in place for all staff. As an integral part of our Operations team you will have a proactive approach to operational standards, safety, communication. You'll also collaborate very closely with the People and IT functions to ensure that the workplace is safe, efficient, and well-maintained. What you will be doing Office maintenance scheduling and management Ensure the Berlin site complies with health and safety regulations Oversee the security of the Berlin premises as well as developing, reinforcing and implementing security policies and protocols Manage relationship and communication with security providers, serving as the primary point of contact for all interactions including emergencies. Perform regular audits and clearly communicated spot checks, and review security footage and logs in accordance with data protection laws to detect and respond to legitimate security concerns. All monitoring activities will be transparently documented and, where applicable, implemented in consultation with the Works Council Coordinate and oversee the work of external contractors, landlords, and service providers. What we are looking for Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance as well as experience conducting health and safety inspections and audits. Proven ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures. Experience in a similar role, preferably within an e-commerce or market place environment. Excellent organizational, time-management and communication skills Ability to take initiative and work independently. Fluent English and C1 level proficiency in German.
