As part of its ongoing growth, our client is looking for a dynamic Project Lead Spare Parts (m/f/d)



Your Key Responsibilities


As the Project Lead Spare Parts (m/f/d), you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth through post-sales activities, focusing on customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships. You will oversee and develop the after-sales business, ensuring our clients continue to experience high-quality service and support throughout the lifecycle of their equipment. Your responsibilities will include promoting service contracts, spare parts, upgrades, and technical services to enhance customer value and build long-term relationships.


* Client Relationship Management: Actively consult and support customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
* Sales of Service Products: Drive sales of service contracts, spare parts, maintenance, and upgrade packages, tailoring solutions to individual client requirements.
* Identify New Opportunities: Actively identify opportunities to increase after-sales revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new service offerings.
* Compile lists of typical strategic and operational spare parts to support effective inventory management and customer service.
* Create standard offers as well as innovative customized solutions (retrofit offers) to meet specific customer requirements and enhance service offerings.
* Actively contribute to the development of spare and wear part recommendations or packages to optimize equipment maintenance and longevity.
* Develop a comprehensive technical service catalog outlining available performance options and technical solutions for clients.
* Acquire new customers in the area of innovative digital solutions, expanding the client base and driving growth in digital services.
* Manage orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring smooth processing and timely fulfillment of customer expectations.
* Travel to customer sites for consultations, presentations, and ongoing advisory support to strengthen relationships and showcase solutions.
* Coordinate with Internal Teams: Work closely with the engineering, customer support, and technical teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
* Customer Feedback and Improvement: Gather customer feedback and insights, working continuously to enhance the quality of after-sales service and implementing improvements to better meet client needs.




Your Expertise:


* Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; International Welding Engineer qualification would be advantageous.
* Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in the industrial machinery sector, specializing in stockyard equipment. Proven ability to drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, market expansion, and client relationship management, delivering tailored machinery solutions.
* Technical Skills: Strong technical background with an understanding of mechanical systems, equipment lifecycle, and customer needs in the machinery sector.
* Practical Experience: Extensive hands-on experience in stockyard technology and machinery, enabling in-depth technical consultation and problem-solving.
* Sales & Business Development Skills: Proficiency in negotiation, pipeline management, and closing techniques.
* Industry Expertise: Experience with stockyard machinery and bulk material handling systems.
* Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and sustain strong client relationships.
* Strategic Skills: Strategic planning and sales forecasting.
* Contract Negotiation & Pricing: Expertise in contract negotiation and pricing strategies.
* International Sales Expertise: Proven experience in international sales.
* Languages: Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
