Title: Project Manager
Location: Berlin-Kreuzberg, Leipzig-Lippendorf
About Us:
Our client is focused on developing and operating large-scale energy infrastructure that supports the energy transition, centered on utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) and other flexible, controllable power assets that help stabilize the grid and enable higher penetration of renewables like wind and solar.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Overall responsibility for BESS projects (GW).
* Drive the investment project forward.
* Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary project teams.
* Steer the project confidently through the phases of development, implementation and commissioning.
* Plan, control and maintain responsibility for the necessary project budgets.
* Cooperate with international partners for engineering, EPC solutions or construction of the assets in lots.
* Shape the technological transformation of the energy industry actively and in a responsible manner.
Experience and Requirements
* Degree in Engineering
* Experience in managing complex projects for energy plants with an investment volume of ≥ €500 million.
* Experience managing hybrid or standalone BESS.
* Clear understanding of the success factors of projects for the construction of energy plants.
* IPMA Level B certified (or equivalent).
* Fluent English (C1) and German (at least B2).
* High degree of resilience and a sense of responsibility.
