Your new job includes
As a (Senior) Category Manager LTC (m/f/d) consisting of liquor, tobacco and confectionery, you will be responsible for ensuring that the product range is designed in line with the market and for the promotional portfolio of the locations responsible in the Middle East Africa region in order to achieve the sales and earnings targets.
In particular, you will
* manage the product ranges based on key figures, carry out demand, promotion as well as product range analyses and derive appropriate measures to promote positive category development
* coordinate advertising space and personalisation planning to ensure customer and sales-oriented merchandising
* derive activity and action plans based on the respective market strategy and the marketing calendar for each location
* support the sales managers in the preparation of product group-related shop briefings (space planning, architecture briefing, brand occupancy)
* independently take responsibility for category-related location support (also on site if required) and independently prepare, carry out and follow up on appointments
* keep an eye on changes in demand and control distribution management
* carry out market and competition analyses in order to support the sales managers in developing pricing strategies with recommendations for action
Preferred Profile
* Completed business studies and initial professional experience in sales or marketing in a retail company
* Sound knowledge of the product group as well as confident handling of SAP and the MS Office package
* Business fluent in English and German, other languages would be a plus
* A high level of management and coordination skills with regard to cross-departmental cooperation
* Strong communication skills as well as an open-minded personality and a high level of analytical thinking
* Willingness to travel occasionally
