Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Strategic Sales Manager to lead our efforts in hunting new business opportunities within the Retail vertical and other related sectors. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong networking abilities, and a proven track record in sales to effectively drive our growth initiatives in the UK market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the Retail vertical and related industries. - Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
- Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives in potential client organizations.
- Establish trust and credibility by understanding client needs and proposing tailored solutions.
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities within the retail sector.
- Utilize insights gained to refine sales strategies and tactics.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Lead sales presentations and demonstrations of our Order Management Solutions, clearly articulating value propositions.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and clients.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that resonate with potential customers in the Retail vertical.
- Work closely with product management to provide customer feedback and help shape future product offerings.
- Performance Tracking:
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management, outlining progress toward goals and identifying areas for improvement.
- Adjust sales strategies based on performance data and market changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a strategic sales role, preferably within the Order Management or E-commerce solutions industry.
- Proven track record of hunting new business and achieving or exceeding sales targets, particularly in the Retail vertical.
- Strong understanding of order management systems, e-commerce technologies, and the retail landscape.
