Job Description SENIOR SALES MANAGER Cocoa An exciting opportunity in an global food and beverage industry with a broad portfolio of Cocoa ingredients. Location: Manheim, Germany Full time, Permanent Job Responsibilities: Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive growth in Germany and Austria. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing existing key accounts. Lead contract negotiations and ensure alignment with company objectives and client needs.Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to refine sales tactics. Collaborate with Product Line Management, Marketing, and Technical teams on product positioning and innovation. Provide exceptional customer service through tailored cocoa solutions and regular business reviews. Mentor junior sales staff and foster a high-performance culture. Represent the company at industry events and maintain a strong external presence. Track sales performance and deliver regular reports to senior management. Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning for the region. Job Requirements: Bachelor degree or Master in Business / Sales / Marketing / Operations / Agribusiness. 2 - 4 years’ experience in sales, new business development and key account management in food commodity business Food commodity experience is a must (cocoa, chocolate, confectionary are preferred but not a must) Experience in the food ingredients /B2B sales network in the Food Industry will essential for the incumbent to be successful in this role. The incumbent should have proven experience as a “self starter” with a strong element of dynamism and the ability to move fast and get things done. Have a knack of commercial orientation with the ability to run the business independently. Strategic thinking is critical to understand the global strategy and ensure we have a growth-oriented mindset. Analytical skills. Ability to map the market trends and grow the business based on previous company business connections and predict market directions. Make sure we are able to identify key value drivers for success Have an ownership mindset and desire to run the show Independently. Have excellent customer engagement, communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate with and influence a matrix of internal and external customers at varied levels.
