Design Consulting GmbH is a premium engineering partner collaborating with leading Automotive OEMs. For our team in Ingolstadt, we are looking for a Test Manager for Vehicle Electronics Integration, a key technical figure capable of combining methodological rigor with high dynamism.
The Role & Mindset
In this role, you will be responsible for the validation of EE architectures. We are looking for a professional with strong operational flexibility: the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities, manage unforeseen challenges during test sessions, and operate with agility in a highly dynamic prototype development environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Analysis & Integration: Deep understanding of vehicle architecture and integration requirements.
* Test Management: Definition, drafting, and execution of vehicle-level tests.
* Problem Solving: Issue analysis, troubleshooting, and detailed reporting of test results.
* Planning: Defining tasks and scheduling timelines with a flexible approach to meet project milestones.
* Communication: Presenting results and coordinating with stakeholders and development departments.
Mandatory Requirements
* Education: University Degree in Electronic, Mechatronic, or Computer Science Engineering.
* Experience: Previous background in Automotive E/E testing and validation.
* Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of vehicle EE architecture and communication/diagnostic protocols.
* Toolchain: * Mastery of Vector Tools (CANalyzer, CANoe).
* Knowledge of diagnostic and configuration tools (IDEX, ODIS, CPTool).
* Familiarity with requirements management tools (DOORS or Confluence).
* Soft Skills: High flexibility, proactivity, and excellent communication/presentation skills.
* Languages: Proficiency in English; good command of German is essential for local project coordination.
* Driving License: Valid Category B license (mandatory for vehicle testing activities).
Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)
* Prototype Driving License: Possession of an official prototype driving permit (e.g., B-Prototyp or higher levels) is considered a significant advantage.
* Specializations: Knowledge of Functional Safety (FuSa) or Automotive Cybersecurity standards.
