Job Responsibilities:
• Key participant for selling the company's products or services developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts.
• Responsibility may include finding, generating and developing new distribution partners in order to sell the company's products to end-users
• Helps to create awareness and demand for company products
• Pursue sales leads
• Participates in visits to existing and new customers
• Analyze customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
• Respond to customer enquiries; and conclude sales orders to meet established revenue targets
• Innovate / create sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers
• Assists in supplier audits on site at distributor warehouse locations
• Identify and implement efficiency opportunities such as distributor dashboards, etc.
• Helps to Initiate regular communication with distributors to mitigate shipment errors and discrepancies
Experience / Qualifications
• A bachelor’s in engineering (preferably mechanical/electrical or electronic), or a business degree with significant experience in a technical environment.
• Significant sales and marketing experience at a senior level in Business-to-Business key account management in an industrial environment. Distribution sales and management experience will be a strong plus.
• Experience of working with sensors and industrial automation products is preferable.
• Exceptional commercial acumen paired with solid operational and technical backgrounds.
• Ability to convert customer needs into compelling offerings.

Summary:
The Account Manager is responsible for managing accounts across EMEA for a robust OE engine management and emission control sensor portfolio, driving sales and strategic growth in the automotive, heavy duty, motorsports, and marine aftermarket sectors.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for handling day-to-day account management activities in the designated market by identifying new sales opportunities with existing and new customers in the region. This activity includes conducting in-person meetings to maintain current business, drive new business, and support the overall sales goals and improved customer experience.
2. Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions to generate leads.
3. Drive value-based selling across targeted channels including co-manufacturers, co-packers, remanufacturers, exporters in the Automotive Aftermarket
4. Identify and develop sales opportunities within targeted distribution channels across key aftermarket sectors: Automotive, Heavy Duty, Motorsports, Alternative Fuel, and Marine
5. Identify key decision-makers within customer organizations and build long-term relationships with stakeholders such as senior management, purchasing, engineering, and sales teams to support strategic alignment and business growth.
6. Deliver actionable insights by analyzing market trends, competitive activity, customer retention, and sales funnel performance, while communicating Voice of the Customer feedback to internal teams to improve offerings.
7. Maintain CRM tools (Salesforce) with sales/account activity and new business opportunities.
8. Negotiate contracts and agreements in line with company guidelines and objectives.
9. Manage contracts and service agreements with clients and ensure that both parties adhere to the terms.
10. Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and account analyses to support customer programs and business planning.
11. Provide accurate forecasting and budgeting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
