The EMEA category manager for HR Services is responsible for all regional tactical purchasing activities in the area of above mentioned Services.
The regional category approach creates a mutual added Value for all internal Customers in terms of commercial, logistical and processual Enhancements by providing Expertise and Best Practices around the needs of the internal Customers as well as strengthening the relationship to strategic Business Partners (internally and externally).
Your tasks
1. Driving all related purchasing activities in EMEA region related to HR Services (Security, Health Care, HR, Trainings) together with the Global Category Head and Regional Cluster Manager
2. Drive negotiations considering best commercial and operational aspects and ensure compliance with valid rules
3. Identify synergy potential where- and whenever possible
4. Ensure full coverage of all business requirements in the received offers
5. Drive contractual coverage
6. Support operational improvements by negotiating commercial benefits
7. Keep alignment between purchasing and internal customer strategy
8. Complete handling of the ordering process via CEOS and SAP, including any complaints handling as well as internal and external communication
9. Preparing and conducting tenders, offer comparisons, and contract negotiations for complex procurement projects in the defined areas, in cooperation with Global Category Head and Regional Cluster Manager
10. Create and compile Sourcing Decisions Sheets, ensure BPBoC and NDA signatures, collect financial and commercial records, identify and develop vendors
11. Ensure, that agreements are created, approved and signed and communicate to the plants inside the region
12. Support and management of special projects
Qualifications
13. University Degree (Diploma/Bachelor/Masters) and extensive experience, related certifications.
14. At least 3 years of professional experience in procurement, preferably in technical purchasing (NPM area) with verifiable success — alternatively, relevant experience in HR is also welcome
15. Strong analytic and conceptual competence
16. Exceptional communicator capable of communicating effectively within a multi-cultural and across functions as well as all levels
17. Confident handling of SAP R/3 + S/4 and MS Office
18. Independent and responsible way of working as well as a quick comprehension
19. Advanced negotiating skills, assertiveness, goal- and result-oriented work
20. Fluent in German & English (writing and speaking).
21. Experience in project management
