Responsible contact person for technical support of dedicated customer(s) including the customer related supply chain.
Main Tasks:
Key Functions
1. Primary technical responsibilities at the account, the respective supply chain (catalyzer, canner), as well as for external development partners with respect to all product and application specific questions of substrates and filters
2. Establish close relationship to the customer and acquire deep knowledge of the customer’s technical requirements and systems. Be able to speak intelligently about the customer’s platforms, emission systems, technical approaches, technical people, etc.
3. Negotiate, establish and maintain product specifications
4. Negotiate, establish and maintain customer measurement requirements
5. Responsibility for timely availability and introduction of new products by using the new product process (PPAP)
Quality
6. Responsibility for coordination and realization of source changes, line changes and/or releasing new production equipment
7. Support plant QA teams in case of customer complaints
8. Support plant QA in case of customer audits (OEM and/or supply chain)
9. Customer representative according to IATF 16949
New Products/Development
10. Customer interface for test and development programs in coordination with AE-, SE- and New Products Manager
11. Provide information on new product developments to the customer
12. Define the requirements for product development by coordinating through New Products Manager
13. Market observation (incl. competitors) in view of development of emission aftertreatment systems/technologies
Education:
14. Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Ceramics Engineering or comparable education
Skills:
15. Technical ceramics, process knowledge
16. Detailed knowledge of substrate and filter products
17. Detailed knowledge of internal combustion engines and exhaust aftertreatment
18. Detailed knowledge of customer requirements (TL, PV, Formel Q)
19. Market knowledge
20. Solid presentation skills
21. Fluent German and English (verbal and written)
