KG Organization Transformation of Industry Business Unit Industrial Steam Turbines & Generators Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As Sales Manager (f/m/d) for Small Steam Turbines, you will drive sales growth and market expansion across Europe, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with customers and business partners. You will leverage your expertise in small steam turbines and demonstrate resilience in a dynamic, competitive environment.How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Execute sales activities, pricing, and negotiation to ensure successful order intake boosting growth of the small steam turbines business in Europe, focusing on small power generation applications
2. Lead and coordinate with business partners (“boots on the ground”) to reach all possible markets visiting customers and developing new opportunities
3. Assessing customer needs directly to the ultimate purchaser or indirectly through business partners and suggesting appropriate products, services, and/or solutions
4. Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
5. Respond effectively to customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback
6. Work closely with internal proposal, engineering, factories, and commercial teams to deliver high-quality bids, according to customers’ needs
What You Bring
7. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar engineering degree
8. Multiple years of sales related experience working with EPCs, OEMs and Business Partners in steam turbines, turbomachinery, or related energy industries. Knowledge of European market for small steam turbines is a plus
9. Proven track record in sales growth, customer relationship management, and market & business development
10. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, competitive market
11. Fluency in English required. Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, and/or German languages would be a plus
12. Willingness to travel extensively within Europe (up to or exceeding 40%)
