This role bridges engineering, operations and product development, focusing on transitioning new products from design (or change) to full-scale production.Responsibilities:Leads the overall planning, and execution of project related activities and provides work direction to extended team members within the ISC (Integrated Supply Chain) organization. Makes sure that deliverables met in time.Represents ISC in Portfolio Core Team meetingsEstimates resource requirements and identifies resources in conjunction with functional managers.Ensures that manufacturability, efficiency (cost competitiveness) and quality are maximized within change and new development projects. Applies and focusses on:Design for manufacturingImplementation of new/state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, automation solutions and production equipmentWork plans/standards, layouts and time studiesFMEA, risk analyses and process validationsFacilitates and influences decision-making within the Core Team in the sense of the ISC organization and communicates product and project progress back to the ISC organizationPlans and implements industrialization projects for new products and processesActs as an interface between development (R&D), platform, production, quality, purchasing and if needed suppliersRequirements:Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Technology or a comparable field.
