Product Owner - Military Line
Summary:
Responsibility for a defined product portfolio, including ensuring the on-time, quality- and customer-oriented provision of all necessary engineering services within an integrated program.
Responsibilities:
• Responsibility for a defined product portfolio and central coordination of all relevant topics within the portfolio
• Interface for customer care, in-service support and ongoing airworthiness in coordination with engineering and airworthiness functions
• Support of production operations, supply chain and quality assurance in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Creation of technical solutions, definitions and offers for strategic and ongoing business developments
• Manage changes, work packages, projects, and incremental developments in collaboration with design, project, and testing/certification teams
• Responsibility for product-specific requirements in connection with functional and safety-relevant analyses
• Technical contact for governance reviews, configuration management and customisations within the portfolio
• Exchange of lessons learned technical support of other product owners and identification of necessary technical competencies in the portfolio
Qualifications:
• Completed university degree (at least 4 years standard period of study) in aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering
• Several years of professional experience (at least 6 years) in aviation development or in a safety-critical technical environment
• In-depth knowledge of aviation-specific design and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of the development and certification of aviation seats or comparable safety-critical products is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken English skills (at least C1)
