Description Germany is a strategically important territory for NSF, and the Foodservice sector is critical to our 2026 growth plans. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of NSF’s retail audit services to Foodservice clients, while also identifying cross‑selling opportunities for related services such as training, consulting, sampling, and broader compliance solutions. You will work closely with in‑country sales and marketing colleagues to develop tailored business plans for the Foodservice sector, convert high‑potential opportunities into closed‑won deals, and expand market awareness of NSF service lines. Success will be measured by achievement of sales revenue, gross margin, and contribution targets for FY26/27. Responsibilities Core Mission Sell NSF retail audit services to Foodservice customers, with a strong focus on winning, developing, and growing these accounts to key‑account level. Identify and convert additional opportunities within the same client typology, including services such as training, consulting, sampling, and complementary compliance solutions. Sales Development & Pipeline Management Prospect, create, and maintain a robust pipeline using Salesforce CRM, ensuring all sales administration, forecasting, and reporting are up to date. Develop and execute business development strategies for the Foodservice sector, focusing on both existing and new accounts. Drive “first-to-market” opportunities for NSF by leveraging market intelligence, emerging regulatory developments, and insight into TIC sector trends. Achieve YOY sales growth targets by territory, business unit, and service line. Client & Market Engagement Present NSF solutions directly to clients through in‑person meetings, video calls, webinars, conferences, and written communication. Map the Decision Making Unit (DMU), understand technical needs, and deliver customer‑centric solutions aligned with NSF’s mission. Build strong partnerships with marketing, operations, and business unit teams to ensure aligned and efficient go‑to‑market execution. Sales Efficiency & Internal Collaboration Drive pipeline accuracy, opportunity quality, and stage‑gate discipline within Salesforce. Support and reinforce the consistent implementation of sales effectiveness initiatives. Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure efficient sales planning and delivery of client solutions. Control & Compliance Manage pricing and gross margins in line with budgeted levels and BU pricing procedures. Ensure safe working practices and compliance with all health and safety requirements. Contribute to the development and implementation of IT solutions that give NSF a competitive advantage. Other Responsibilities Support ad‑hoc projects as needed. Take reasonable care for personal and team health and safety. Qualifications Required Experience 5–10 years of demonstrable success in a strategic, results‑driven sales role within the TIC sector or closely related industries. Proven experience selling retail audit services or related compliance/verification services within the Foodservice or broader food industry. Strong understanding of Foodservice compliance needs and food sector standards Previous exposure to food safety, auditing, or supply chain compliance. Deep knowledge of Salesforce.com, with the ability to drive pipeline efficiency and disciplined sales execution. Competencies & Skills Strategic thinker with strong planning, data‑driven decision‑making, and needs‑based selling skills. Ability to identify “blue ocean” opportunities and drive enterprise‑level growth. Excellent communicator capable of managing senior and C‑suite stakeholder relationships. Resilient, persistent, and effective at handling rejection while maintaining motivation. Strong teamwork, negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills. Very strong command of written and spoken German and English. Comfortable working in a matrix organization and navigating cross‑functional environments. Other Requirements Valid EU driving license and ability to travel regularly, including occasional overnight stays. Flexibility to work across multiple time zones within a global organization.
