Operating in a highly regulated environment, the company supplies critical products where quality, traceability, and compliance are essential.
To support a growing and increasingly complex production site, we are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) to take ownership of the end-to-end supply chain, spanning planning, logistics, procurement, and operational execution. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining deep involvement in daily operations with the mandate to drive structural improvements, scalability, and performance.
Your Tasks
* Build a strong, practical understanding of site operations through hands-on involvement in planning, production control, and material flow
* Continuously optimize the end-to-end supply chain across planning, logistics, procurement, and operations, balancing short-term execution with longer-term strategy
* Develop and implement capacity planning and resource allocation at site level to support growth and stability
* Act as a key interface to the global supply chain, working closely with strategic suppliers and contributing to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
* Design, implement, and continuously improve operational supply chain processes
* Own system integration and process efficiency, including ERP usage, master data quality, and workflow design
* Contribute to cross-site initiatives aimed at improving delivery performance and reducing lead times
* Actively monitor and execute production and material planning, identifying bottlenecks early and ensuring stable, compliant operations
Your Profile
* Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline
* Several years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing or production environment
* Experience in medical technology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or another regulated precision manufacturing industry is a strong advantage
* Strong analytical skills paired with strategic and entrepreneurial thinking
* Solid hands-on experience with ERP systems and process optimisation
* Proven project management capability, including translating system architecture into effective operational processes
* High digital affinity and change mindset; exposure to Tableau, Power BI, Python, or SQL is a plus
* Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented working style
* Fluent in German and English, written and spoken
