Your tasks
:
1. Conformity officer for the Consumer Electronics division
2. Technical responsibility for compliance with legal approval requirements
3. Single point of contact for handling international approvals
4. Preparation of approval documentation (technical construction files) and declarations of conformity (DoCs)
5. Responsibility for the Gigaset laboratories Environment and telecommunications
6. Commissioning of external laboratories and evaluation of test reports
7. Preparation and implementation of external ETL and RED product audits
8. Handling/cooperation in the event of complaints from market surveillance authorities
9. Management of memberships of ETSI, DECT Forum, WiFi Alliance
What you bring to the table:
10. Degree in engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable field of study desirable
11. Experience in the area of type approvals, product approvals or regulatory affairs
12. High level of technical understanding
13. Experience in quality management and PLM processes
14. Very good analytical skills, strong organisational and communication skills, and ability to work in a team
15. Good written and spoken English
