To strengthen our Planning team, we are seeking a professional and dedicated Production Planner (m/f/d). In this role, you will be responsible for the detailed daily scheduling of all production lines to ensure adherence to confirmed delivery dates while maintaining an optimal product mix.
This position is based in Pritzwalk, Germany, where our production site is located.
The Role/Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute daily detailed production schedules across all manufacturing areas, including fill material preparation, gelatin, encapsulation, inspection, sorting, and packaging (bulk and finished goods)
* Prepare and coordinate laboratory schedules to ensure the timely release and availability of required raw materials
* Actively participate in daily TMS (Tiered Management System) production meetings with production and shift management, as well as cross-functional departments
* Monitor and track daily production progress in both manufacturing and laboratory operations to ensure adherence to confirmed delivery timelines
* Create, review, and process purchase requisitions and raw material proposals in coordination with the Procurement department
Profile/Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
* Minimum 3 years of progressive experience as a Production Planner, ideally within a globally operating and matrix-structured organization
* Strong hands-on experience with ERP and advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP, APO, NAVISION) and logistics modules
* Demonstrated ability to lead across functions and cultures in a matrix organization
* Strong problem-solving mindset and motivation to contribute to innovation and continuous improvement
* Highly precise, conscientious, and systematic approach to work
* Independent, reliable, and accountable working style with strong organizational capabilities
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
* Fluency in German and English is required; additional European or Mandarin language skills are considered an advantage
* Willingness to travel occasionally as required
