We are looking for a technical leader to drive the development of our software solutions and spearhead our cybersecurity strategy. In this role, you will lead both internal and external software teams through the full development lifecycle, ensuring our instrumentation software is robust, secure, and delivered with precision.
The Role As a Senior SW Project Manager, you will be the bridge between technical execution and strategic security. Your mission includes:
Software Leadership:
Leading cross-functional teams to plan and execute software projects and third-party integrations from initiation to completion. Instrumentation Ecosystem:
Coordinating across multiple R&D disciplines, Quality, and Regulatory teams to ensure software aligns with complex hardware and solution requirements. Cybersecurity Strategy:
Developing and overseeing initiatives to prevent breaches, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring all software meets rigorous industry standards like NIST, ISO 27001, and CRA. Incident Response:
Leading the response team in the event of a security breach to mitigate damage and restore operations. Agile Governance:
Applying and refining Agile principles to manage backlogs, mitigate risks, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
What You Bring This is a high-level position requiring a deep background in
software engineering and product development .
Experience:
10+ years of professional experience with a BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Project Mastery:
A proven track record of managing complex software projects using Agile, Scrum, and Stage-Gate methodologies. Security Expertise:
A strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and familiarity with security tools like firewalls, SIEM, and intrusion detection systems is very desirable. Technical Toolset:
Proficiency in JIRA, Trello, or MS Project. Leadership:
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities. Certification:
PMP or an equivalent certification is preferred.
